WHAT IS FRIENDS OF DUXBURY PICKLEBALL
Friends of Duxbury Pickleball is a registered 501 (c)(3)
non-profit organization working with the Town of Duxbury to rebuild and maintain the Pickleball courts at Tarkiln and Alden Parks. We are group of volunteers with the goal of promoting the sport of Pickleball and improving the pickleball facilities and programs within the town of Duxbury, MA.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of Friends of Duxbury Pickleball is to promote learning and playing pickleball in an inclusive environment for people of all races, abilities and ages. All funds collected will be used for enhancement of our pickleball program as well as the repair, maintenance and continued improvement of the pickleball courts in Duxbury, MA.
FUNDRAISING
Friends of Duxbury Pickleball have already donated $25,000
to the Town of Duxbury to resurface the courts at Tarkiln.
Our goal is to raise $100,000 to completely resurface all 6 Tarkiln courts and beautify Duxbury's pickleball facilities.

OUR LOCAL USA PICKLEBALL AMBASSADOR
Cindy Reagan is an ambassador for USA Pickleball and also PPR certified by National Pro Sarah Ansboury. She is a natural teacher. Cindy runs the Duxbury Recreation Pickleball program and teaches locally. She is well known throughout the South Shore pickleball community. Cindy offers a fun Fast Track coaching methodology for beginners allowing them to get out on the courts and enjoy the game. With intermediate and advanced players she is able to refine their skills and take their play to the next level.
Her love for the sport is infectious!

TARKILN COURTS
6 dedicated Pickleball courts located on RT 53 (245 Summer St.)
next to the Tarkiln Community Center & the Sinnott Memorial Baseball Park.​
ALDEN COURTS
3 dedicated Pickleball courts next to the Duxbury Library on Alden Street.
The Recreation Department reserves the Tarkiln courts for Rec. Department programs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00AM - Noon. The courts are open to the public after 12:00PM on those days, as well as all day on Tuesdays, Thursdays and weekends.

We use the TeamReach App to post the Open Play and Rec Play calendar. Members can RSVP when they plan to attend designated play times and see who else has signed up to play. TeamReach is also a handy communication method and many members use it to organize group play, share information and photos. Anyone can join our Team Reach groups by downloading the free TeamReach App and then entering the designated group code.
